Scientists were able to extract DNA from a tooth of a 7,000-year-old skeleton in a Spanish cave and found something very interesting - the man had dark skin like an African but blue eyes! The man was a hunter-gatherer around the time when humans started to explore farming and creating more permanent settlements. He also was lactose-intolerant and didn't eat many starches, which matches his hunter-gatherer lifestyle. It's fascinating what scientists can now determine from DNA. Another skeleton in the same cave will be analyzed soon.
